Keren Oertly, Dreams are Decisions in the Shifting Land
Installation with rag rug handmade from donated materials, found tool
60mm x 450mm

This installation explores intersections of ontologies, cosmologies and metrics, mapping a colour sequence of 4 audience responses to a series of 8 propositions. Spacing, interval, accident and site anchor the framework, content and direction to open up new patterns of making. Thank you to Savemart Papanui for providing the materials for this work.

A visual response to Alice Canton's work in development Year of the Tiger (虎—hǔ), presented at Tiny Fest, Toi Moroki Centre of Contemporary Art, Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, 2019.
